We happened upon a great deal at Legoland in September, so we took the first chance we could get and headed out that way. It was SO much fun! Our kids had an absolute blast. And I think it was just fun for everyone to do something that didn't involve sight seeing ;). My favorite part was staying overnight in the Legoland Castle. It was perfect. On our way back home, we made a stop at the Ludwigsburg Pumpkin Festival. It was super crowded, but also really cool. In the end, we decided we preferred our local pumpkin festival--a little less busy and just as enchanting! But overall, a great weekend getaway!
