iphone 5!

It finally happened, Nathan and I became owners of a smartphone.  And not just any smartphone, the iphone 5.  We had been planning on getting them as 'dental school graduation gifts', and let me tell you, our old phones barely hung on.  Needless to say, we are very happy with our new toys :).  The only drawback is now I take all of my pictures with the phone and not with our nice camera.  So here is a post full of iphone pics...kind of a hodge podge.

First are pics from Kristie's visit at the end of September.  She decided to drive up for a long weekend with her kids.  Of course we had a blast and the kids were so happy to see each other!  Thanks for making the drive, Kristie!  We love you guys!
Went down to the Botanical Garden at the Bellagio to enjoy the fall decor :)

Of course we also stopped by the aquarium at the Forum Shops.  Violet loved the fishies!
Still hot enough for a splash pad, of course!
Already partners in crime ;)

A little art project for Violet's room :)
Can't resist this adorable face!
...or that cute little bum!
Nate made the Nellis AFB newspaper!
We made a little picnic table for the Scout Auction at church...about a month later we made one for our kids as well .  They loved that thing and are so happy to have their own!
We also got this baby for my birthday!  I am so excited that I don't have to leave the house to get in a good run anymore!

This cute kid started preschool in September....he goes 3 days a week and is learning lots and having fun.

Playing pin the nose on the pumpkin at the park with our friends!

If you zoom in you'll notice a piece of mac n cheese on his tummy...classic
We drove down to Phoenix in October for Nate's friends' wedding.  While there we stayed with Brooke and tagged along at her neighborhood Halloween party.  The kids snagged a couple of costumes from their huge supply and had a great time!

Getting out halloween decorations...and of course playing with mommy's shoes

Costume parade at the ward trunk or treat

Reading Halloween stories in their spooky jammies!
Chipotle had a deal for $2 burritos if you came dressed up...there was no way I was missing out on that!  Nathan and I threw together these costumes last minute!  Not bad, eh?
Just hangin out...

(with our friends, the Christensen's)

Sawyer and Hadley

(Brooke came up with her kids for a week in September...we loved the chance to hang out with so many cousins!)

LOVE this picture
We went to an overpriced pumpkin patch and we found our own 'FREE' form of entertainment! :)

I don't know why but I thought Violet was so cute sitting there playing with her blocks and watching cartoons...she's growing up quick!

Field Trip to the Fire Station!!!!

I love this girl so much but man can she be dramatic!  :)  She just sits there in the car seat scowling all the time.  And the next picture we had come in from the garage and she was throwing a tantrum about something...she stood there crying in that position for a good 5 minutes!

Her hair is getting so long!  I love it!

Of course she thought putting spaghetti in her hair would be more fun than eating it :)
Just a little sneak peek of our daily occurrences...the good, the bad, and the ugly :)

Stay tuned for more updates!
