Easter came a little early this year, March 31st. Two days after we got home from our Arizona adventure. We had a fun little Easter Egg hunt in the house and backyard with grandma and grandpa. Then I put together a German breakfast for all of us (and forgot to take a picture!). Kinda nice having church at 1 on Easter Sunday. We had the whole morning to enjoy and relax before getting dressed up for church. I sent Nathan out to the front of the house a few minutes before church to try and take a picture of the kids...this is what he was able to get. They are so silly together and I love it!

It was fun to be able to teach Sawyer a little bit more about the reason that we celebrate Easter. Obviously we try to teach it to both of them every year, but I feel like he is starting to understand it more this year. I am so grateful for my family and for a loving Savior who gave His life so that we could live.

Cute pictures!! Love their Easter outfits and silly pictures. But I really also loved the action shots of them looking for eggs. Glad they wore those silly hats! :o)
I'm grateful you're teaching your kids about the true meaning of Easter. That makes me happier than anything!!
