cereal

So the other day I opened our storage closet (ignore the mess) only to find this...

I asked Nathan why there were stacks of Oh's cereal boxes piled in the closet. He responded with, "I'm just building up our food storage". So that's that. If the world comes to an end and anyone is hungry, we'll have plenty of Oh's. Thank you Nathan.

And here is me trying to show off my baby bump. Not much to brag about yet, but I figured it's about time I start documenting. This morning getting ready for church I realized I won't be able to wear a large majority of my skirts anymore...it took me a while to find one that fit right! Here we go...

For some reason this slight change in angle makes me look a lot bigger. Whatever. It is what it is :).

Tell Nathan to stock up on toilet paper too- that way if society collapses you can sell it. And I love the bump!! You should invest in some bella bands (they allow you to wear your non-maternity clothes with the zippers or buttons undone). I used them when I was pregnant with Max and they were lifesavers 'cause I could never fit into maternity clothes.

Cute bump! You are so tiny that it is fun to see a little bump there. Seriously, I love baby bump pictures, and guess what, in a couple of weeks we can start giving a gender to that cute bump of yours :). I do have to agree that you should invest in a bella band. I just keep wearing my old clothes, and hide the fact that my zipper is all the way down with the band. Whoever thought of it was a genious!

Nathan, love the food storage! We were counseled in our ward to have a 90 day supply of food in our house.. I think you are well on your way :) By the way, that was some pretty creative stacking. I love the solid foundation and then the branck off near the top. Mad Skillz we've got to say.

Hurray for Thanksgiving break! We can't wait to see you guys! Love you lots!

that was fantastic. tell you what. i'll trade you food storages - right now we've got three #10 cans: one rice, one beans, and one cracked wheat cereal. oh, and about 10 lbs of salt. not too sure what we're hoping to accomplish with just that:) yep, i'd take the cereal.

i had the very same problem with skirts yesterday. going to church has been such a rare thing for me to be able to do, i haven't had to face the skirt issue much yet. yesterday i went with my skirt completely unzipped. pretty sure i looked fabulous.

good work on the baby bump! it's nice to have a little something to show for the past couple months, eh?

hope you're doing well! love ya!

Phil and Nate should get together on the food storage..their minds think alike. The other day I ate a half a box of Oh's with out milk. I hadn't had cereal in a long time (because I was cutting out diary) and was just craving cereal. I realized that I was eating a lot during the experience, but I didn't really care. I love your bump! I can't wait to see it in person!! (8 days)

Jess I miss you! You looks so cute with your baby bump. And I think that is hilarious how Nate stacked up the 'food storage.' What a funny guy.

You're too cute! The story about the food storage is funny. It sounds like something my husband would do too.
