That's right, folks. Nathan and I are happy to announce that we will be welcoming a little baby into our family on or around May 5, 2009! We have been waiting for this baby for some time now and we are so super excited that it's on its way! As far as pregnancy goes, I can't complain too much about the past 11 weeks (ok so the first 4 don't really count, I know). I've been very lucky. That doesn't mean I feel great...definitely nauseated, headachy, tired... But all in all it's been bearable. I'm still able to work, run, and occasionally make dinner so I consider that pretty successful :). Probably the hardest thing for me is knowing that I won't be going to my favorite doctor in Orem, or delivering at my favorite hospital in Orem. But I've had some great recommendations for an OB here...she's one that I work with and I'm thinking I'll be ok :). These past weeks I've been plagued with paranoid thoughts of what could go wrong or be wrong (the whole being an L&D nurse doesn't help the situation)...but this morning at our first ultrasound everything became a little brighter for me! I'm so excited that there's actually a baby in there and that it's where it should be and doing what it should be (even if it is still the size of a cinnamon bear). We're so excited for Baby Larson and I'm so excited to continue experiencing pregnancy...what an amazing thing. I work with it everyday but to experience it for yourself is truly miraculous. When we left the ultrasound room I was looking at the pictures and said to Nathan, "This one's actually mine!" We are so happy and so excited to finally share this news with all of our friends! Thanks for all of the love and support you all give us every day...we are so blessed.

You might get sick of my comments, Facebook, but that just made me cry. Nothing can compare to having your own baby and I know you feel that. BTW, who was your fav. doctor in Orem? I went to Dr. Gordon in Provo for Ben. Congratulations again!
hooray!!! so i have two things. one, cinnamon bears were the only thing i could get in me for about a day and a half straight when i was about 11 weeks along - i just sucked on them (i just thought it was an odd coincidence...) two, i told my mom, jonathan and emily about violet and they all LOVED it. so buck up. and as an unexpected third, i made a pumpkin fruit/cookie dip today and sat at the table dipping graham crackers in it and missed you. (i know you never tire of hearing about how much pumpkin makes me think of you...)
Yay! We'll have babies right around the same time so we'll have to make sure and get some visits in so they can play. Congratulations!!!!
Congratulations! We are so excited for you guys! Our little guys will be just a few months apart. We'll definatley have to meet up after the baby comes! OH Im so excited for you! You guys will be great parents!
I'm so glad that you announced it! And I love that you put the ultra sound on the blog! Now the count down begins to find out what the gender is. Okay, let's be honest, that count down started as soon as I knew you were pregnant! Also, speaking of pumpkins...two days ago Phil treated me to doughnuts from Krispy Kreme and Phil got one that was pumpkin. It was so yummy and while I was eating I thought to myself, "Jess would really like this doughnut!!" Miss you! Can't wait to see you in November, I hope you're showing then!! Also, feel free to call me any time you're falling asleep in the car (or falling asleep at work). You can even call in the middle of the night (chances are I'll be awake). And if I'm not, I deserve to be woken up in the middle of the night by you (since I did that you about three weeks ago "Jess, my contractions really hurt, I think it might be gas, but I don't know.") I hope this all made sense! Love you!
can't wait. and i'm betting its a girl.
HOORAY! So I can finally congratulate you publicly now. We are so happy for you, and so excited for this new adventure. We wish we still lived by you guys, so we could experience it all together, but at least you have some family in AZ. Don't stress yourself worrying about what could go wrong, because you will know exactly how to handle any situation since you have so much experience! Plus, you've seen a million times how easy it can be, just remember Thomas E. Judd stands for Thomas EPIDURAL Judd. We miss you, we love you, we are so happy for you, and we know you're going to be an incredible momma.
Congratulations! Best of luck! I'm glad you're not feeling too badly!
Congrats guys! I'm so, so, so happy for you! Maybe I can deliver your baby...or not.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! We couldn't be more excited for you two. As I was reading your blog post outloud to Brandon he laughed when it said that the baby was the size of a cinnamon bear...he said, "We all know what's on her mind...FOOD!" lol. Hope all keeps going well for you guys.
whoa, i'm like the worst sister ever for not having commented on your blog yet. but i'm sooo exciiiiiiited. and i'm glad i'm allowed to talk about it openly now!! yaaaaaaaaaaaay. i'm bettin on a girl too. 10 bucks. actually i'm feeling a little risky today let's go with 11 bucks. bahah. LOVE YOUUUUUUUUU.
ps.i like jerai's comment about the pumpkin doughnut. typical jessica.
Oh CONGRATS! This is Lauren formerly Childers - I grew up with Nate in MD. Found the blog on Carole Ann and Jons. I am so excited you all are having a baby - what a fun set of parents you two will make. We just (like a week ago) had our first baby. It's an amazing thing. Best of luck. Xoxo, Lauren Thorley
PS I hope you dont mind if I add your blog to mine. I wanna keep track of you all and this new baby!!!!
We are SO excited for you two! CONGRATS!!! I'm glad that you were able to get an ultrasound - yeah for a picture of YOUR baby! Well, I hope that all is going well with your new job. Good luck with everything and we will keep checking your blog for updates!
So, my mom said that your mom had blabbed this to her awhile ago...I've been waiting for you to post the news so I could congratulate you! This is so exciting!
Congratulations Jessica! I am so excited for you. I hope everything goes well. You will be an excellent mom.
I am the worst friend ever... sorry it has taken me so long to post a comment! We are sooooo excited for you!!! I am glad that the news has spread, I really am the worst with secrets, but I did really good with this one :)I know everyone is betting on a girl, but I think we are going to say it is a little boy (We somehow need to become family so I think marrying off our children would be ideal, that way they would have awesome in-laws forever.)
Again, Congrats!!! We love you both, (or all three of you!)
Jessica,
I am so glad you have found my blog. I posted in September the gender of my baby. You can look at the ultrasound photos if you look in my archive. We are having another boy. I guess we make cute ones so we may as well add to the madness. I look forward to seeing you.
Kilee
Yay! I was induced with both kids and I slept like a rock those nights before D-Day...better than the night before I was married! I'm with Syd and Kristie, it's a girl...but I'll give you $20 if you guys let the gender be a surprise (to you and everyone else, that is!). We did with our first and then Chris wanted to know with the second. It was weird knowing and I much prefer the surprise after all the labor.
Congrats! We are excited to have another new baby around the same time we are all having ours. Linsey Nelson is due in March and I am in April. That is so exciting!
I am so excited for you! That is so cool! You guys are going to be great parents. I hope your job is going well. We miss having you up here. We were talking about how your were pregnant yesterday at a work party for American Fork L&D. Everyone was really happy for you.
Congrats!!! That is wonderful! We are so happy for you guys!!!
Jessica congratulations!! You will have the cutest baby and be such a fun mom...such happy news!
So so so excited for you and I wish you were going to be here to deliver. Are you sure you don't want to leave that husband in Arizona and come up here until the baby comes?? You can come back and work with us and go to Dr. Judd and we can see how cute you are pregnant...
congrats Jessica! i'm so happy for you guys! good luck with it all! babies are so much fun!
